Job summary

Standard Bank Offshore is seeking an experienced Team Leader for its Personal Banking unit in the Isle of Man. You will lead a high-performing team dedicated to delivering exceptional client outcomes while developing people and solving complex client challenges.

This role blends leadership with operational excellence in a respected international banking business, focusing on developing your team, enhancing client experiences and contributing to future success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in banking, financial services, or similar environment.
• Proven experience leading, coaching or mentoring others.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
• Strong client service and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support a team of Personal Bankers to deliver an outstanding client experience.
• Act as the first point of escalation for complex client queries, complaints and service incidents.
• Support the Personal Banking Manager in day-to-day leadership and operational management, deputising when required.
• Build stronger client relationships through proactive service reviews and customer engagement.
• Monitor performance data and MI to drive service improvements, workforce planning and efficiency.
• Manage tasks, teamwork and ensure high standards of customer experience.
