Job summary

The Co-operative Bank in Barnsley is seeking a customer-focused team member to be the first point of contact for personal and business banking customers, supporting them through our digital transformation across in person, phone and secure messages.

You'll work as part of a team, handle cash and data changes in internal systems, promote appointments with Personal Banking Team, and help protect customers from fraud while meeting personal and team targets in a compliant, flexible hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service environment with a focus on delivering excellent service.
• Ability to navigate multiple internal systems to update customer records.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address customer needs and update customer records using internal systems.
• Encourage customers to schedule appointments with the Personal Banking Team for relevant products/services.
• Protect and educate customers against fraud and scams.
• Work toward personal and team targets and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Provide service across channels including in person, telephone and secure messages.
