Job Description:

Join us as a Customer Service Personal Banker in Peterborough.

• You’ll be integral in guiding and supporting our valued branch customers, helping them achieve their financial goals.
• We’ll look to you to proactively find ways to continually enhance our customer banking experience.
• We’ll support you to achieve a Foundation Certificate in Responsible Banking and build on your existing skills with full training.
• This role does not meet Skilled Worker visa sponsorship requirements.
• This position is offered for a period of six months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing outstanding customer service as the first point of contact in our branches.
• Understanding customer needs through proactive conversations and assisting with banking requests such as payments, balance inquiries, and transfers.
• Helping customers understand various banking options and services.
• Identifying opportunities to promote simple financial products and collaborating with other teams for a seamless experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting salary of £26,010 pro-rata, with additional benefits including healthcare, lifestyle perks, 33 days of holiday (pro-rata), and a monthly retirement contribution.

Additional Information:

You’ll join a network of colleagues dedicated to supporting customers. Flexibility in working hours is required, typically between 9 am and 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with rotational Saturdays and some bank holidays. The role includes comprehensive training, ongoing coaching, and opportunities for external qualifications to support career growth.
