Job summary

Lancashire Independent Living Service is seeking dedicated personal assistants to support a young man with his daily life. You will help him access the community, participate in social and leisure activities, and provide compassionate personal care.

As he uses a wheelchair, you will assist with transfers, mobility, medication, and light domestic duties including meal preparation and getting him around the community. A patient, reliable attitude is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to access the community for social and leisure activities.
• Deliver personal care including washing, dressing and toileting assistance.
• Assist with transfers and mobility for a wheelchair user.
• Support with medication administration.
• Provide domestic support and help with meal preparation.

• providing support to enable him to access the community for social/leisure activities.

• Our client is a wheelchair user so will need support into/out of his chair and assistance in the community with getting about.
• Providing support with medication.
• Providing domestic support.
• Assisting with meal preparation.
