Independent Lives is seeking several Personal Assistants to support a friendly 67-year-old man at home and in the community. The role offers flexible hours, with opportunities for regular shifts, bank work, sickness cover and holiday cover.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you can contribute effectively. We value caring, reliable individuals with good communication and teamwork skills who can work to high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work with a 67-year-old man in home and community settings.
• Willingness to undertake Enhanced DBS check if required.
• Applicants must have right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal grooming and daily living activities.
• Support moving and handling as needed.
• Assist with activities in the community and accompany to events.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality; adhere to health & safety standards.
• Demonstrate reliable timekeeping and the ability to follow instructions or work independently.
