Job summary

Ideal for All is seeking a compassionate Personal Assistant in Walsall to support a young woman in gaining independence and enjoying daily activities outside the home. You will be friendly, patient and respectful, providing personalised care and assisting with mobility and communication.

The role involves helping with community access, social activities, meals, and medication administration as required, while maintaining dignity and encouraging autonomy.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or higher in Adult Social Care would be beneficial.
• A DBS check is essential before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Support the client to access the community and attend activities.
• Provide personal care and assist with transfers and toileting.
• Administer medications as prescribed with accuracy.
• Support non-verbal communication using an iPad app.
• Encourage socialising and independence outside the home.
• Observe safety and respond to needs discreetly.
