Job summary

ENABLE Scotland is seeking a caring Personal Assistant to support Toby in Inverclyde East End. The role offers sessional, variable hours with a £13.45 hourly rate, and involves assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.

You will help Toby pursue his goals while promoting independence and social engagement. Full training will be provided, and you will work as part of a supportive team to ensure Toby’s safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of activities.

Qualifications

• Provide personal care and support to Toby according to his care plan.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities.
• Deliver person-centered care with empathy and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist Toby with personal care and health needs as required.
• Support Toby in getting out for walks and short outings.
• Engage Toby in activities, music, and social connections as part of daily routines.

Toby is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Personal Assistant to join his support team. Toby has complex health needs, including epilepsy requiring rescue medication, brittle bone Disease, oxygen therapy, suction support and full manual handling. Alongside providing high-quality care, you will support Toby to enjoy the things he loves, including getting out for walks, going for drives, and listening to Disney and GBX music. We are looking for someone who is bubbly, outgoing and compassionate, with a good understanding of the importance of delivering person-centred care while helping Toby live an active, enjoyable and fulfilling life. Full training will be provided.
