Job summary

ENABLE Scotland in Glasgow is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant (Support Worker) to provide compassionate care and support to Stephen and others in the community.

You will join a Bespoke team around each individual, helping them achieve goals, maintain independence and enjoy daily activities, with a flexible shift pattern 11am–6pm and a focus on wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Assist with personal care, moving and handling or behavioural support as required.
• Help the individual expand social networks and connections.
• You will work with a bespoke team around each person to ensure safety, wellbeing and aspirations are met.
• No two days are the same – make a positive difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks as needed.
• Support Stephen with hobbies, routines and activities to maintain independence.
• Assist with moving and handling and behaviour support where required within care plans.

Toryglen, Glasgow

Part Time - 21 hours / week

Social support between 11am - 6pm

£13.45 / hour

Stephen leads a busy life, and he would like staff who share or are happy to take part in his hobbies and routines: Celtic Football club, WWE, Harry Potter. He also enjoys Dj'ing, Horse Riding, Football and attending or volunteering at adult social clubs
