Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a part-time Personal Assistant to support a Gentleman living in Beverley with MS. The role involves personal care, domestic tasks, meal preparation, and accompanying the service user in the community.

Duties may include using a ceiling hoist and other duties as discussed at interview. DBS and references are required, with costs met by the council.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred however training can be provided.
• DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.

Responsibilities

• Support with Personal Care – use of a ceiling hoist.
• Perform household domestic duties and meal preparation.
• Provide support at home and out in the community.
• Other duties may be discussed at interview.
