Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a gentleman living with MS in Beverley. The role involves personal care, domestic duties, meal preparation and community support for 20+ hours per week, on a fixed 4-week rota discussed at interview. A DBS/reference check is required. Female worker is requested for privacy reasons.

Join an in-house Direct Payments Service, working with a small team of carers to promote independence and daily living for the service user.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but training can be provided.
• DBS/Reference checks will be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Personal Care including use of ceiling hoist.
• Carry out domestic duties and meal preparation.
• Provide support at home and in the community.
• Work with a small team of carers.
