Job summary

Ceredigion County Council Direct Payment Support Service seeks a Personal Assistant to support a client in day-to-day living, including meal preparation, housework, and planning. You will help with community tasks, appointments, and some personal care as discussed. Training is provided, and an enhanced DBS check is paid for.

You will work closely with the client to learn together and adapt to needs. Candidate should be reliable, kind, and comfortable with animals.

Qualifications

• Adaptable, like-minded and open to learning together.
• Ability to be comfortable with animals, including dogs.
• DBS check required for the role (enhanced DBS).

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and vegan diet considerations.
• Support with general household duties and planning/executive functioning.
• Provide help with community tasks such as shopping and appointments.
• There may be limited personal care, to be discussed and learned together.
• Be comfortable around the client's dog and manage interactions as needed.
