Job summary

Pembrokeshire Direct Payments is seeking a Personal Assistant to help a client in Crymych live independently at home. The role involves personal care, meals, light duties, and social activities within the home environment.

Applicant will support with daily routines, transport to appointments, shopping, and community activities, while ensuring safety and safeguarding throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Providing for the personal care needs of the employer, including washing and dressing.
• Supporting with laundry and light housework.
• Helping with food organization, meals and cooking.
• Keeping the home clean, safe and warm.
• Assisting with wood for the wood-burning boiler.
• Supporting with household admin.
• Enabling the employer to socialise.
• Assisting with shopping and attending activities of interest.
• Assisting the employer to attend appointments.
• Ensuring the employer’s safety during working hours.
• Carrying out other reasonable tasks as requested during working hours.
• Being mindful of safeguarding issues and reporting concerns to the relevant authority.
