Job summary

Rosekel Care Ltd in Deddington is seeking a friendly, reliable Personal Assistant to support a young man with a learning disability and complex health needs in his own apartment attached to his family home.

You will help with everyday life, including getting out into the community, social activities, meal preparation, medication, mobility and developing independent living skills; training will be provided, and DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, reliable and engaging Personal Assistant to support a young man with a learning disability and complex physical health needs.
• Support with everyday life, including getting out into the community, social activities, meal preparation, medication, mobility and developing independent living skills.
• Monitor respiratory wellbeing, oxygen therapy and nebulised medication as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the young man with everyday life and community activities.
• Assist with meal preparation, medications and mobility.
• Help develop independent living skills and confidence.
• Full training and competency assessment will be provided for delegated healthcare tasks.
