Job summary

Solo Support Services Ltd is seeking a Personal Assistant to support a 30-year-old man in Newark. You will help with daily living, personal care and getting out and about to activities such as wheelchair basketball, cinema trips, shopping, volunteering and physiotherapy.

The role offers up to 32 hours per week with full training provided. A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle with space for a manual wheelchair are essential.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided.
• Full UK driving licence required and own vehicle with space for a manual wheelchair.
• Previous care or PA experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care as needed.
• Support activities such as shopping, cinema, wheelchair basketball, volunteering and physiotherapy.
• Provide transport to activities and appointments.
• Be reliable, patient and encouraging.
