Job summary

Rosekel Care is seeking compassionate Personal Assistants to support a young man in his own home in the LE10 Hinckley area, with a focus on person-centred care and building a positive working relationship. Football or gaming interest is considered advantageous to connect with him and support his interests.

Responsibilities include personal care, moving and handling, PEG feeding, non-invasive ventilation support, and maintaining accurate care records.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and respectful.
• Reliable, committed and able to work in a team.
• Comfortable providing personal care and supporting complex healthcare needs.
• Willing to undertake specialist training.
• Interested in football or gaming is desirable.
• Experience in complex care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing respectful and dignified personal care.
• Supporting with moving, handling and repositioning per care plan.
• Supporting with PEG feeding and associated care.
• Assisting with NIPPY non-invasive ventilation.
• Assisting with cough assist and suction equipment.
• Monitoring wellbeing and escalating changes.
• Maintaining care records and following care plans.
