Our Hospital Director currently has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join the Cheltenham team. As Personal Assistant you will use your diverse administration and planning skills to primarily support the Hospital Director in the smooth running of the hospital, as well as supporting the Senior Management Team within the hospital
As the Personal Assistant, you will:
Manage email and diary co-ordination
Control and facilitate meeting schedules
Arrange and minute key committee meetings
Analyse and collate data
Management of the patient complaints and compliments process
Act as first point of contact for consultant relationships and ownership of Practicing Privileges
Prepare presentations and reports to tight deadlines
Liaise with third party stakeholders including consultants
Provide administration / PA support to the Director of Clinical Services and the Director of Operations
To succeed as the Personal Assistant, you will need:
At least 5 years’ experience most likely gained at an Executive Assistant / PA level or similar roles
Sound knowledge and competency in all IT systems
A ‘can do’ attitude with a proactive and responsive approach to problem solving
Substantial discretion, diplomacy, sound judgement, courage, initiative, flexibility and personal integrity
A good sense of humour and the ability to work in a busy and high-pressured environment

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital is located in the beautiful area of Cheltenham in Gloucestershire. It has excellent transport links nearby, being very close to the M5 and A417. The hospital has 33 ensuite private bedrooms, 3 theatres and a small ambulatory unit. It also hosts a purpose built close observation unit, 12 consulting rooms with access to treatment rooms, diagnostic services including; plain x-ray, MRI, CT, mammography and ultrasound. We provide a full range of medical and surgical specialities delivered in state-of-the-art clinical facilities, including orthopaedics, cosmetic surgery, spinal services, sports injury, ENT, gynaecology, urology, as well as a rapid access breast clinic.
