Job Title: Housekeeper / Domestic Assistant Hospitals

Salary: £12.33 per hour

Job Description:

As a Housekeeper, you will help us create a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for patients by cleaning and preparing various areas using the latest equipment and supported by comprehensive training. Your responsibilities will include room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning.

Responsibilities:

• Organize your work and plan your time effectively, ensuring cleaning does not interfere with patient care.
• Maintain friendly communication and excellent customer service when interacting with colleagues and patients.
• Follow cleaning protocols meticulously to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
• Collaborate with the Infection Prevention team, reporting any incidents appropriately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Additional Information:

This role is on a bank basis, meaning hours are ad-hoc, based on the needs of the hospital and your availability. Benefits include holiday entitlement in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our pension scheme, and discounted gym membership at £25/month.

Location:

Nuffield Health Cheltenham Hospital, Gloucestershire. The hospital features 33 private bedrooms, 3 theatres, diagnostic services, and more, serving a wide range of medical and surgical specialties.
