Job summary

Beatson Cancer Charity is seeking a proactive Personal Assistant / Administrator to support the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team. You will manage diaries, emails, meetings and travel, prepare reports and presentations, and support governance processes with confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • At least four years' experience in PA/admin/office support.
  • Strong minute-taking skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Office and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive, secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Manage diaries, correspondence, emails, meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Organise meetings including agendas, papers and minutes.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Personal Assistant / Administrator to provide high quality support to senior leaders within a leading cancer charity.

About the role
  • Providing executive, secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Managing diaries, correspondence, emails, meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Organising Board, Committee and other meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes.
  • Supporting governance processes and maintaining accurate records.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, briefings and correspondence.
  • Handling enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Providing reception cover when required.
  • Supporting organisational projects, events and activities.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

About you

You will have at least four years' experience in a PA, administrative or office support role, excellent minute-taking skills, strong Microsoft Office knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
