Job summary

The Edmund Trust Milton-based positions offer flexible hours for dedicated Support Workers. You will provide person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, following care plans and collaborating with families and staff.

We provide internal training, opportunities for progression and a supportive team, with a focus on high-quality, compassionate care in a committed charity environment.

Qualifications

• Nurturing, supportive and patient approach
• Strong communication to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues
• Shifts can be long or short day shifts, possibly sleep ins and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to the people who use our services.
• Follow the support plans and relevant documentation
• Assist with daily activities, including medication administration and personal hygiene
• Maintain open communication with the people we support, their families and the staffing team
