Job summary

Etive House Care Home in Benderloch near Oban provides small group living for up to 62 residents. The Activities Coordinator will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs, promoting wellbeing, independence and social interaction.

Join a supportive team with training provided. Experience in activities is beneficial, but transferable skills from hospitality, events, childcare or community work are encouraged.

• Ability to plan and deliver varied activities for residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to resident interests.
• Promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction for all residents.
• Work with the care team to support residents, including those living with dementia.
• Contribute to a positive, stimulating environment and participate in team activities.
