Advance TRS in London is seeking a Project Engineer Rail Track Design to deliver track engineering excellence across rail projects. The role targets candidates with strong P-way backgrounds and design experience, to act as a technical contact for clients and subcontractors.

You will manage design reviews, risk assessments and ensure the end product meets client specifications. This contract position values experience and engineering judgment across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant P-way experience.
• Experience managing design reviews and delivery of permanent way works.
• Degree in rail engineering is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Ensure track engineering on allocated contracts complies with standards.
• Act as P-way engineering contact with clients and sub-contractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing with client specifications.

I am looking for a project engineer with a good p-way background, to deliver track engineering technical excellence for engineering frameworks across projects

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a track aspect. This role would suit an existing p-way tech or engineer with design experience

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the track engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
• Act as the p-way engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
• Carry out project risk assessments
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

Essential requirements:

• Have five years relevant experience..
• Proven experience of managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of permanent way works

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as rail Engineering.
