Job summary

Advance TRS in London is seeking a Project Engineer Rail Track Design on a contract basis to deliver track engineering technical excellence across programmes. You will work on permanent way design, reviews and client liaison.

The role requires five years of relevant experience in P-Way with design experience; a degree in rail engineering is desirable. This is an equal opportunity employer with diverse workforce.

I am looking for a project engineer with a good p-way background, to deliver track engineering technical excellence for engineering frameworks across projects.

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a track aspect. This role would suit an existing p-way tech or engineer with design experience.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the track engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
• Act as the p-way engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
• Carry out project risk assessments
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

Essential requirements:

• Have five years relevant experience..
• Proven experience of managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of permanent way works

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as rail Engineering.
