Job summary

Advance TRS is seeking a Project Engineer Rail Track Design in London for a contract role. You will bring a strong p-way background to deliver track engineering excellence across frameworks and projects.

The role requires a track engineer with design experience and the ability to liaise with clients and subcontractors, manage design reviews, and ensure the end product meets client specifications while maintaining technical integrity.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant track engineering experience.
• Experience delivering planning and design reviews to deliver permanent way works.
• Degree in rail engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure track engineering on allocated contracts is compliant with Group, client and company standards.
• Act as the p-way engineering technical contact with clients and sub-contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing to meet client specifications and maintain technical integrity.
• Carry out project risk assessments.
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

I am looking for a project engineer with a good p-way background, to deliver track engineering technical excellence for engineering frameworks across projects

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within programmes from a track aspect. This role would suit an existing p-way tech or engineer with design experience

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the track engineering on allocated company contracts are technically compliant with the relevant Group, client & company standards.
• Act as the p-way engineering technical contact and liaison with clients and sub-contractors in order to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure integration of design, installation and testing and that the end product meets the client specification and has technical integrity.
• Carry out project risk assessments
• Attend engineering reviews as required for allocated contracts.

Essential requirements:

• Have five years relevant experience..
• Proven experience of managing and controlling the planning, design reviews to delivery of permanent way works

Desirable:

• Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as rail Engineering.
