Job summary

Case Management Cymru Ltd is seeking a Female Support Worker for Pontardawe. The role involves personal care, mobility support, and enabling therapy and community activities for a wheelchair user in a home setting. You will join a multidisciplinary team and drive as needed.

Role requires a reliable, empathetic, and proactive approach, with flexibility for variable hours and sleep-in shifts. DBS Enhanced check and induction provided.

Qualifications

• Be able to drive and have use of a car.
• Be willing to drive the family vehicle.
• Have experience of supporting a person with a brain injury.
• Enjoy working as part of a team.
• Be willing to register with Social Care Wales.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with personal care, communication and mobility.
• Support at home and assist with therapy appointments and social activities.
• Assist client to access hydrotherapy pool.
• Read cues, offer calm, empowering support and encourage independence.
