Job summary

Orange Recruitment is seeking a Female Support Worker for Pontardawe to assist with personal care, mobility and community activities for a wheelchair user in a home setting. The role includes a mix of full and part-time hours with a weekly sleep-in shift and driving duties.

The client requires engagement with therapy, independence coaching and participation in hydrotherapy, with DBS clearance and full induction provided. Competitive pay includes mileage and generous shift rates.

Qualifications

• Be able to drive and have use of a car.
• Experience of supporting a person with a brain injury.
• Be willing to register with Social Care Wales.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, communication and mobility support.
• Assist with therapy appointments and social/community activities.
• Support access to hydrotherapy pool and mobility routines.
