Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting for a Structural Steel Fabricator in Loanhead, Midlothian. You will join a well-established steel fabrication business, fabricating structural components in a busy workshop and contributing to a variety of projects across Scotland.

The role requires MIG welding experience, drawing interpretation, and a strong eye for detail. Overtime opportunities are available in a secure, growing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Structural Steel Fabricator or related roles.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Experience working with structural steelwork.
• MIG welding experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable and positive attitude toward work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steelwork from engineering drawings.
• Measure, mark out, cut, and assemble steel sections.
• Work with beams, columns, plate work, and bespoke components.
• Operate fabrication machinery safely.
• MIG weld structural steel components.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with an experienced fabrication team.
