Job summary

Reed is seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary School Teachers to start ASAP on a permanent basis across East Sussex. You will deliver high-quality lessons, assess progress and contribute to curriculum development, while maintaining positive classroom management and strong student engagement.

The role requires a QTS or equivalent, a degree in a relevant subject, and the right to work in the UK. Experience teaching at the secondary level and a solid understanding of the UK national curriculum

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Maintain discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive classroom management.
• Contribute to the development of the school curriculum and participate in curriculum activities.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians on a pupil's progress at parents' evenings and other meetings.
• Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
• Act as a mentor to students, providing support and guidance with their educational and personal development.
