Job summary

P+S Care and Support Services in Clacton-on-Sea is seeking a Waking Night Flexible Support Worker to help adults with enduring mental health needs during the night, supporting their wellbeing and progress toward greater independence. You will work as part of a wider team, provide social, emotional and practical support, keep clear records, and respond calmly to changes in wellbeing.

The role requires independence, reliability and a willingness to work a 7-day rota, with night shifts from 9:00pm

Qualifications

• Compassionate and reliable individual with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
• Good communication skills and professional boundaries are essential.
• Experience with adults with enduring mental health needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time social, emotional and practical support to clients.
• Maintain accurate records and report any risks or incidents.
• Liaise with colleagues and services to ensure safety and continuity of care.
• Participate in training and development opportunities when available.
