Permanent Lead Clinical Registered Veterinary Nurse - Guildford

Type: Small Animal

Location: Guildford, Surrey

Practice Type: They are an RCVS-accredited, two-site primary care practice based in Guildford and Haselmere. They provide high standards of veterinary care for small animals in a friendly and professional environment. Their practices are regularly updated to ensure pets receive the best care, supported by their facilities and caring team.

Role: Our client seeks a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and supportive team as a Lead Clinical Nurse.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Clinical Nurse with excellent communication skills to manage the team alongside another Lead Nurse.
• Develop nursing talent through regular appraisals, identifying and organizing learning opportunities.
• Interest in anaesthesia/theatre and Wards to oversee these areas, improve clinical standards, facilitate CPD, establish protocols/SOPs, and stay updated on best practices and new opportunities.
• 40 hours per week over 5 days.
• 1 in 5 Saturdays (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) with time off during the following week.
• Shifts include 8 am-5 pm, 9 am-6 pm, and 10:30 am-7:30 pm; shift patterns are open to discussion.

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
