Great Bear at Worksop is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for a permanent, full-time role delivering to Regional Distribution Centres nationwide. Nights typically 14:00–19:00, with a flexible 5-from-7 pattern to suit preferences.

Carry out safe deliveries, perform vehicle checks, and adhere to tachograph and working time regulations. DCPC and Tachograph cards required; excellent customer service and communication skills essential.

Formación

• Valid C+E Licence.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred; new pass drivers not accepted for this contract.
• No more than 6 points on licence and no DD or DR convictions.
• Current valid DCPC and Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete palletised general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, often as backdoor tip.
• Occasional night out may be required.
• Report delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies to Transport team promptly.
• Complete paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned.
