Nottingham City Council is seeking an experienced Level 2 Social Worker for the Permanence and Adoption team in Nottingham. You will handle complex cases, work with children and adoptive families, and contribute to secure, loving, permanent homes.

Hybrid working, ASYE completed, and opportunities for professional development to progress within social work are offered. You'll use your assessment skills and professional judgement to support permanence planning and adoption journeys.

Qualifications

• Assessment skills and professional judgement form the core of social work practice.
• ASYE completed and registered social worker with a focus on permanence and adoption.
• Ability to work with complex cases and collaborate with partners.

Responsabilités

• Take responsibility for more complex cases with increasing autonomy and professional confidence.
• Play a key role in family finding and matching for adoption.
• Support children and adoptive families throughout the adoption journey and provide ongoing support through to the final adoption hearing.
• Use assessment skills and professional judgement to promote permanence and positive lifelong outcomes.
