Job summary

Keane Premier Healthcare is recruiting a Peripatetic Registered Nurse to cover six care homes across Cambuslang, Rutherglen, Mount Vernon and East Kilbride. The role is permanent, 46 hours per week, £23.00 per hour, with shifts 8am–8pm and 8pm–8am and flexible across services.

You will lead shifts, assess and plan nursing care, administer medications, and collaborate with families and GPs to ensure high-quality outcomes, with structured induction and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration with an active Nursing PIN.
• Experience in care home nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead shifts and provide clinical guidance to care teams.

Responsibilities

• Work flexibly across Keane Premier Healthcare's six care homes according to operational and clinical requirements.
• Lead shifts and provide effective clinical leadership within the service in which you are working.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
• Safely administer medications and treatments in line with professional standards and Company policies.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, recognise deterioration and take appropriate clinical action.
• Complete clinical assessments, care planning, reviews and risk assessments tailored to individual needs.
• Coordinate care with people we support, families, GPs and other healthcare professionals.
