Qualifications

• DipHE or BSc in Operating Department Practice required.
• HCPC registration in good standing.
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
• Experience in an acute hospital theatre environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe perioperative care across anaesthetic, operative, and recovery phases.
• Prepare theatres, anaesthetic rooms and equipment while maintaining infection control standards.
• Assist anaesthetists during induction, maintenance and emergence from anaesthesia.
• Support adherence to WHO Surgical Safety Checklist and NHS patient safety initiatives.
