Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Leeds is seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Practitioner to join the Orthopaedic and Spinal Theatre Team at Chapel Allerton Hospital. You will deliver perioperative care for elective orthopaedic and spinal procedures, working with a busy multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will be supported through a comprehensive induction, preceptorship and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Level 1) or Registered Operating Department Practitioner.
• Willing to undergo training as necessary.
• Ability to demonstrate and explain skills to other staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative care to elective orthopaedic and spinal patients.
• Contribute to audit, quality improvement and service development activities.
• Work with registered and unregistered colleagues to support learners and ensure patient safety.
