Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medical Secretary to support the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service. The role provides secretarial and administrative backing to consultants and the multidisciplinary team, handling complex information with discretion.

You will act as a first point of contact for service users, carers and partner agencies, support day-to-day team operations, and help deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualificações

• Good standard of general education, such as GCSEs.
• Office experience or work in a similar environment.
• Proficient use of a Patient Administration System.
• Personnel management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a proactive and professional secretarial service to the perinatal mental health team.
• Manage complex and sensitive information with discretion and accuracy.
• Act as a key point of contact for service users, carers, colleagues and partner agencies.
• Deliver a courteous and responsive service.
• Support the day-to-day running of the team.
• Support consultant psychiatrists, the associate specialist and the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, high-quality care.
