Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Medical Support Secretary to support the Perinatal CMHT. The role is full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri) and involves providing secretarial support to consultants, clinicians and managers, including diary coordination and efficient handling of information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience as a secretary/administrator.

Responsibilities

• Audio typing of clinical letters and typing of medical and other correspondence.
• Actioning requirements identified in minutes/typing.
• Uploading/scanning including prescriptions.
• Assisting consultants with diary management.
• Handling telephone calls from service users and health professionals with courtesy and accuracy.
