A leading educational institution is looking for a versatile Performing Arts/Music/Multimedia Technician to support its Creative departments. This position offers a flexible schedule of up to full time during term, with a salary ranging from £25,951 to £28,634 based on skills and experience. The College wishes to appoint to the following post to start as soon as possible: Performing Arts/Music/Multimedia Technician – up to full time (flexible), term time plus 15 flexible days. FTE salary £25,951 – £28,634 depending on qualifications, skills, and experience. We are seeking a versatile and proactive Technician to support our Performing Arts, Music, and Media departments, as well as the wider college community. This is a unique opportunity for a multi‑skilled individual to play a key role in our creative environment. The appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges' Association support staff pay scale as specified. This is the full‑time equivalent salary and will be pro‑rated to part‑time hours and term‑time weeks.
The successful candidate will provide essential technical support across various disciplines.
We are looking for a self‑starter with a practical, "can‑do" attitude. You should possess the technical skills and adaptability required to meet the evolving needs of our departments. Note to Applicants: because this role covers a broad range of disciplines, we invite candidates to specify their primary specialisms (e.g. Sound Engineering, Lighting Design, Videography, etc.) within their application.
