Job summary

DiverseJobsMatter is seeking a Performance Manager to lead a national public body’s corporate performance framework. You will define and monitor indicators, develop a balanced scorecard, and provide insight to senior stakeholders to support governance and decision‑making.

This strategic role focuses on turning performance data into meaningful insight, enabling continuous improvement and strong reporting for executive audiences and the government department it sponsors.

Qualifications

  • Experience leading corporate performance frameworks or performance-reporting functions.
  • Demonstrable experience developing and managing key performance indicators.
  • Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills.
  • Ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Experience producing strategic reports and communicating complex information clearly.
  • Experience driving improvement, innovation or effective practice.

Responsibilities

Overview

Our client, a national public body responsible for protecting and promoting the historic environment, is seeking a Performance Manager to lead its corporate performance framework.

The role will ensure organisational performance is clearly defined, monitored consistently and communicated effectively. The successful candidate will lead the development of key performance indicators and a balanced scorecard, provide insight and constructive challenge to senior stakeholders, and produce high-quality reporting for executive, governance and government audiences.

This is a strategic role focused on turning performance data into meaningful insight that strengthens decision-making and supports continuous improvement.
