Job summary

Historic England has a fantastic opportunity for you to join us as our Performance Manager. This full-time, permanent role is situated nationally, inclusive of hybrid working across various offices including Newcastle, York, and others.

You will oversee our corporate performance framework, develop KPIs, and ensure clear reporting to senior stakeholders. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a strong pension scheme and generous holiday allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading corporate performance frameworks or reporting functions.
• Demonstrable experience developing and managing KPIs.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience producing strategic reports and communicating complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of Historic England’s corporate performance framework.
• Lead the development of KPIs and the Balanced Scorecard.
• Produce high quality performance reporting to the Executive Team.
