Job summary

Historic England is inviting applications for a Performance Manager role. You will lead the corporate performance framework, define KPIs, and ensure robust monitoring and clear reporting to the Executive Team and DCMS.

You will curate insight from data, oversee KPIs and the Balanced Scorecard, and challenge senior stakeholders to drive performance improvements. Based across one of our national offices or from home, this full time post offers hybrid working with offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• Experience leading corporate performance frameworks or reporting functions.
• Proven ability to develop and manage KPIs.
• Analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience producing strategic reports and communicating complex information clearly.
• Experience driving improvement, innovation or best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the Balanced Scorecard.
• Provide insight and challenge to senior stakeholders; ensure high-quality performance reporting.
• Curate insight from data to support strategic decision-making; communicate findings to the Executive Team and DCMS.
