McLaren Automotive is seeking a Performance Engineer to join our Motorsport department in Woking. You will model cars, analyze racecar data, and support trackside and lab testing to extract peak performance while preserving reliability.

The role emphasizes a strong engineering foundation, hands-on data analysis, and collaboration with customers and teams. Experience in Motorsport and powertrain or transmission control is highly valued, with MATLAB/Simulink coding skills beneficial.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Previous Motorsport environment experience.
• Experience in Powertrain or transmission control systems development.
• Ability to code and willingness to learn different coding languages.
• Strong data understanding and communication with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Racecar modelling and simulation, data and performance analysis.
• Competitor performance review.
• Trackside support for development testing.
• Supporting dyno rig testing and laboratory tests for system performance and reliability.
• Testing and validation of complete vehicle and subsystems.
• Developing technical capabilities and tools as required by the business.
