McLaren Automotive is seeking a Performance Engineer for our Motorsport department in Woking. You will model, simulate, and analyse racecar performance, focusing on GT3/GT4 programs while supporting development and validation of subsystems.

Strong data skills and trackside collaboration are essential. The role combines software calibration across vehicle systems with hands-on testing, requiring a degree in engineering or CS, Motorsport experience, and a passion for racecar performance.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Experience in Motorsport environment
• Experience in Powertrain or transmission control systems development
• Full vehicle-based software calibration

• Racecar modelling and simulation
• Racecar data and performance analysis
• Competitor performance review
• Trackside support for development testing
• Dyno rig testing and lab tests for system performance and reliability
• Testing and validation of the complete vehicle and sub-systems
• Developing technical capabilities and tools as required by the business
