Job summary

undisclosed is seeking an analytics professional to lead performance measurement and data storytelling for digital service improvements. The role supports the Made Digital Transformation (MTD) initiative, with contributions across project teams and stakeholders.

You will analyse data, validate analytics tools, and help shape the design of the service to enhance accuracy, efficiency and impact. Occasional UK travel may be required; remote work is supported where possible.

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is fundamentally transforming the UK tax system to use digitally integrated tools. MTD is a key part of the government's ambition for the client to become one of the most digitally advanced tax authorities in the world. MTD will make it easier for businesses, self-employed individuals, and landlords to get their tax right first time by integrating tax into their day-to-day business activities through use of software and digital tools. It will create a single, up-to-date view of a customer's tax affairs in one, modern and robust IT System.

• This is a pivotal analysis role. You will be responsible for developing performance measurement frameworks and analysing the performance of a service or product against these. Your approach and framework will adapt in line with any changes.
• Recent times have taught us that working remotely is a successful way of collaborating, but on occasion you will be asked to attend other locations in the UK for short periods.

What you'll do

Work with project teams to procure, implement and validate appropriate analytics tools against identified performance measurement frameworks

• Analyse data and use this analysis to create compelling evidence-based and actionable data stories to share with stakeholders to drive decisions
• Inform the iterative design of the service or product in order to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure data and analysis is of high quality and accuracy, and work with a variety of qualitative and quantitative data
• Provide challenge from a digital perspective and collaborate with other digital and analytical professions, especially user researchers, to provide collective insights
