Job summary

BNY invites high-potential undergraduates to its 10-week Summer Internship Program in Manchester, designed to accelerate development, grow professional networks, and provide exposure to a leading financial services institution. Interns contribute to pivotal projects, gain hands-on experience, and receive structured mentorship across People, Engagement, and Impact initiatives.

Qualifications

Enrolled in a 3- or 4-year undergraduate degree program (business/tech preferred).
Graduating in Dec 2027 or Summer 2028.
On track to achieve a 2.1 or higher.

Responsibilities

Support People, Engagement and Impact priorities across governance, employee relations, policy, and community impact.
Analyze onboarding and employee experience to identify improvements using feedback and data.
Test AI pilots to enhance People and Corporate Affairs operations, e.g., drafting knowledge articles or powering internal bots.
Build or refine dashboards tracking engagement trends, learning participation, and employee relations themes.
Contribute to internal talent mobility by matching employees to roles or projects by skills and business needs.
Assist in pulse surveys and focus groups to synthesize insights for people strategies and governance.
Create toolkits and digital materials to help employees navigate change and support Corporate Affairs messaging.
Research future skills and external trends to inform workforce strategy and policy developments.
