Job summary

BNY in Greater Manchester is recruiting for a 10-week Summer Internship Program focused on data science and analytics. You will analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, and build scalable analytical tools to support business decisions.

Participants gain hands-on experience, structured mentoring, and exposure to enterprise platforms within a leading global financial services firm. Graduation in 2027 or 2028 is expected, with visa sponsorship not required.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a 3 to 4 year undergraduate degree program with a focus on business and/or technology.
• Graduating in Dec 2027 or Summer 2028.
• On track to achieve a 2.1 or higher.
• Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Apply data science and analytical methods to solve real business and engineering problems.
• Analyze data, perform profiling and feature engineering, and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
• Build and automate analytical processes, models, and tools that improve decision-making and efficiency.
• Partner with teams across engineering and the business to turn data insights into practical recommendations.
