Job summary

Medivet in Watford supports clinic leaders as a first point of contact for people matters, delivering practical advice and guidance across the colleague journey. You’ll handle onboarding, job changes and queries, ensuring consistent application of people processes and policies.

You’ll partner with managers to resolve complex employee relations matters, coach teams to build confidence in handling routine issues, and maintain accurate Workday data while driving continuous process improvements

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR or People role.
• Confidence supporting managers with people matters and providing practical, consistent advice.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with ability to own queries to resolution.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using HR systems and maintaining accurate people data (Workday advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted People contact for managers and leaders.
• Coordinate onboarding, job changes and colleague queries.
• Own complex queries and cases from start to finish.
• Guide managers through routine employee relations matters and policy application.
• Coach managers to handle day-to-day people matters effectively.
• Maintain Workday transactions and data quality; support process compliance.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve guidance.
• Support broader People initiatives with Partners across networks.
