Safran Group in Gloucester is seeking a proactive People Services Coordinator to join our HR team. You will support employees through joining, contract changes, payroll, benefits, family leave and offboarding, in a hybrid-working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate HR data to support payroll processing and submit changes on time.
  • Liaise with payroll providers and stakeholders to resolve routine payroll queries.
  • Administer employee benefits, enrolment, amendments and leaver processes with data accuracy.
  • Coordinate payroll-related schemes and reporting, including deductions and campaigns.
  • Produce payroll-related reports and support audits and reconciliations.
  • Support salary reviews, profit sharing and bonus administration.
  • Provide admin support for employee relations, including meetings and documentation.
  • Assist HR colleagues and managers by coordinating activities and ensuring process adherence.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive matters to HR specialists.
  • Build effective relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding activities and HR induction delivery.
  • Deliver admin support across the employee lifecycle, including offboarding.
  • Generate and issue employment-related documentation per policies.
  • Monitor family leave and holiday tracking; escalate concerns.
  • Maintain HR data in systems and coordinate contractor administration.
  • Perform absence data validation and resolve discrepancies with managers.
  • Suggest improvements to HR processes, systems and docs.
  • Support process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Maintain HR templates, guidance, and knowledge resources.
  • Share insights from recurring queries to improve service delivery.
  • Process invoices, PO’s and vendor records; liaise with external HR providers.

About the Role:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused People Services Coordinator to join our HR team in Gloucester. This is a varied role where you'll support employees throughout their journey with the business, from joining and contractual changes through to payroll, benefits, family leave and leaving processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate HR data to support payroll processing, ensuring all employee changes are submitted within required timelines.
  • Liaise with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to resolve routine payroll queries.
  • Administer employee benefits, including enrolment, amendments and leaver processes, ensuring data accuracy across systems.
  • Coordinate the PEGI share scheme process, including reporting, payroll deductions, stakeholder liaison and campaign administration.
  • Produce payroll-related reports and support audit and reconciliation activities.
  • Support annual salary review, profit share and bonus administration.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations processes, including meeting coordination, documentation and note-taking.
  • Support HR colleagues and managers by coordinating activities and ensuring adherence to agreed processes.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR specialist.
  • Build effective relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding activities, including HR induction delivery.
  • Deliver administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and offboarding.
  • Generate and issue employment-related documentation in line with company policies.
  • Administer family-friendly, statutory leave and holiday monitoring processes, escalating concerns where appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems.
  • Coordinate contractor administration activities.
  • Perform absence data validation checks and resolve discrepancies with managers.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to HR processes, systems and documentation.
  • Support process improvement and digitalisation initiatives.
  • Maintain HR templates, guidance materials and knowledge resources.
  • Share insights from recurring queries or issues to improve service delivery.
  • Process invoices, monitor purchase orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with external providers to support HR services.
