Job summary

Oakleaf Partnership is assisting a healthcare organisation in Colliers Wood, London, to recruit a People Services Advisor. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours weekly (9:00–17:30), with a salary of £40,000–£42,000 and on-site work five days a week.

The successful candidate will provide expert HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, support managers, ensure onboarding, manage absence data, and contribute to HR process improvements and reporting.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a generalist HR advisory role (5+ years).
• Experience in multi-site environments (healthcare, retail, logistics, etc.).
• Strong employee relations knowledge and handling varied casework.
• Experience with HRIS systems; Workday and/or ADP advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across channels.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel and data reporting capabilities.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with employees and leaders across the organisation.
• Provide professional, timely advice on employee relations and HR matters.
• Manage sickness absence reporting, analyse trends, and suggest improvements.
• Support investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance cases.
• Manage parental leave and flexible working requests in line with policy.
• Assist onboarding experiences for new starters.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and culture programmes.
• Conduct exit interviews and provide insights to support retention.
• Support design and delivery of HR-related training sessions.
• Produce regular HR reports and KPI data.
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems.
