Job summary

Reed in Partnership is seeking a Business Manager to lead a team of Careers Coaches, drive performance, and manage key partners across Norfolk. The role is office based with travel, and is ideal for a proven people manager who can grow talent and deliver results.

You will oversee stakeholder relationships, coordinate training, monitor KPI trends, and support participants on a dynamic programme. A generous salary, pro-rata for part-time, and flexible working arrangements are available where

Qualifications

• Previous direct line management of a team
• A track record of achieving targets in an Employment Adviser or Employment Trainer role
• Experience in mentoring, coaching and developing individuals
• Excellent stakeholder management and written communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel across the Herts & Essex region

Responsibilities

• Stakeholder engagement with key partners (DPW, JCP, Employers)
• Performance management and identifying skills gaps
• Managing a small caseload of participants
• Acting as a part-time fee earner against targets
• Identifying training needs and coordinating development
• Regular one-to-one reviews and performance appraisals
• Coaching colleagues and delegating responsibilities
• Monitoring KPIs and using MI tools
• Handling customer service issues and escalating as needed
