Role Overview

The payroll administrator ensures the accuracy of all employee payroll matters and supports the People & Culture Systems & Payroll Manager in timely payroll processing. The role involves significant administration, requiring excellent attention to detail.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Champion the Champneys culture, promoting our brand principles.
  • Act as a first point of contact for general queries, escalating as necessary.
  • Administer payroll for colleagues in live-in accommodation.
  • Manage the overpayment process.
  • Administer family leave processes.
  • Support the HR Administrator with PeopleBank (applicant tracking system).
  • Handle zero-hour worker processes.
  • Maintain electronic personal files in line with GDPR.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting, P11ds & PSAs, HR & Payroll reports.
  • Support the HR team with IR35 requests.
  • Ensure compliance knowledge is up-to-date.
  • Demonstrate at least 6 months of hands-on payroll experience.
  • Apply problem-solving skills and numerical assessment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent communication and customer service.
